Carrying forth designer Corey Kovach’s portal inspiration, patrons can expect to enter the counter-service area through The Rift’s back wall of golden frames, of which one portrait will act as a hidden door. It’s much like what patrons experience when entering the front of The Rift through a refrigerator door or mirror.

The unique light sconces hanging on the walls are more of an art installation, featuring the frontends of motorcycles. They were designed by Corey Kovach — who also made all the wood tables in the space, as well as the oaken barrels suspended from the ceiling on a pulley system for easy care. “He is just amazing,” Bekah said. “You have an idea and Corey takes it to the next level.”

The Rift['s]... artist Corey Kovach, who designed furniture and other elements at Prost. He will now be working on a unique interior design project for The Rift. “It’s an idea based on portals, not to give too much away right now... I will stop short of saying it will be a full-on art installation, but it will definitely be something cool to look at while you enjoy a cold beer."
